God Answers to Prayer

Jeremiah 29:1

And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.

Sometimes we think a prayer wasn't answered when, in effect, it was. It just wasn't answered in the affirmative.

When we ask God for something and He says, "No," then it means no. So if we want our prayers answered in the affirmative, then we need to align ourselves with God's will.

God answers prayer in three ways: yes, no, and wait. Sometimes He wants you to grow through your challenge. The apostle Paul came to God with a prayer to remove a physical infirmity. We don't know what it was, but most commentators believe it was either a disability or an injury he suffered as a result of his ministry. Clearly there were many occasions this could have happened, because Paul was beaten, whipped, shipwrecked, and even put in prison and left for dead on one occasion. You name it, and Paul pretty much went through it.

Whatever the infirmity was, it bothered Paul. So he asked God to take it away. But God said, "My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness" (2 Corinthians 12:9). Sometimes God does not take our adversity away, but He wants us to grow through it.

Then there was Moses, who wanted to see the Israelites delivered from bondage in Egypt. He didn't wait on God, but instead took matters into his own hands and killed an Egyptian guard. When the Pharaoh found out about it, he effectively put out a contract on Moses' life, and Moses went into exile for 40 years. Moses had the right idea, but his timing was way off.

1."No, I love you too much."
The Lord of the universe isn't under obligation to say "yes" to every prayer. That's a good thing, considering some of the things we pray for (Request)!

Sometimes God says "no" to our most heartfelt requests. Have you discovered this to be true in your own life?

*** “Jeremiah 29:11 "'For I know the plans I have for you,' declares the Lord, 'plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future'.

2."Yes, but not what you expected."
Have you ever asked God to use you? If so, expect the unexpected!

*** Proverbs 3:5-6"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.".

3."Yes, but you'll have to wait."
Immediate answers to prayer: You want them. I want them. But God simply does not always work that way. And to get his best, we must be patient. In some cases, we must wait until God answer come

Matthew 7:7 "Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you."

Sometimes God will say, "Yes," sometimes He will say, "No," and sometimes He will say, "Wait." But we can be assured that when we passionately cry out to God by faith, He hears us.

look After Orphans and Widows In Their Distress

James 1:26-27

If anyone thinks himself to be religious, and yet does not bridle his tongue but deceives his own heart, this man's religion is worthless.Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the orphans and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.

Orphans and widows were the poor and powerless in 1st Century Israel. Land and opportunities were based upon lineage, so to not have a husband or father was to have no future. James is challenging the Christians of his day to not merit their spirituality upon how well they could recite doctrine, but how well they lived it. Thankfully, the early Church understood this. When the ancient world threw out the orphans and widows, Christianity offered them a unique haven. This was noticed by Greeks and Romans alike and caused Christianity to spread around the world. One must ask, would our actions today match up to theirs?

Faith Tested by Its Response to the Word of God (Jas 1:19–27) Since God’s Word is the means of regeneration (Jas 1:18), a right response to the Word is appropriately presented as the initial test of a vital faith. For the believer to accept regeneration through the Word is one thing; to permit the Word to work spiritual maturity in him is another. The necessary response is threefold: eagerness to hear it, restraint on any premature reaction, bridling of any angry rejection (Jas 1:19, 20). Before the Word can have full sway in the believer’s life, he must remove all that hinders its operation (Jas 1:21).

Acceptance of the Word must be followed by persistent obedience to the Word (Jas 1:22–27). Hearing must be followed by active obedience; otherwise the hearing is useless (Jas 1:22, 23, 24, 25). But obedience to the Word is more than mere observance of outward forms of “religion” (church attendance, rote prayers, participation in the rites of religion) without the development of inner power to control the tongue (Jas 1:26). True obedience to the Word must reveal itself in beneficent social activity and stimulate personal self-control and purity in separation from worldly contamination (Jas 1:27).

James gives an example of someone who hears the word, but does not do it and so deceives himself. This man thinks that he is religious. “Religious” (and “religion”) are infrequently used words in the New Testament. James uses them here because he is describing a man who prides himself in the outward trappings of the faith, but who is not applying it to his heart. He is a religious Jew who now professes faith in Christ, but like many of the Jews, his religion is a matter of pride and outward performance. He prays, he fasts, he tithes, he goes through all of the rituals, but in James’ example, he doesn’t bridle his tongue.

James says that this man deceives his own heart and his religion is worthless. James will deal more with the tongue in chapter 3, but it can encompass a multitude of sins: lying, half-truths, slander, gossip, angry words, hateful words, cursing, telling filthy jokes or stories, and much more. The Bible has very specific and practical commands on each of these areas. If you profess to follow Christ, but don’t apply the Bible to your speech, you’re fooling yourself if you think that you’re religious. Your religion is worthless and your profession is empty.

For myself The most important part about being a Christian is protecting those who are vulnerable to remind us not to fall into the "ways of the world" by taking advantage of our position while protecting the weak and innocent. And this is a reminder to not fall into a false sense of pride (a worldly way) for the protection/aid/assistance that we have provided to those who are vulnerable. Remember, taking care of " orphans and widows " is something that the word of God has directed us and don't forget to give all the glory to God for the work he has directed through you for His purpose.

Abide In Christ

Abide in The Fruit

John 15:8

This is to my Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit

This is to my Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples. – John 15:8 (NIV)

Jesus tells us that the way that we glorify the Father is to bear much fruit. The interesting thing is that earlier in this passage Jesus tells us that we can’t bear fruit on our own; we must abide in Him. So what does it mean to abide? It seems that a reaction is started when we earnestly seek after God in His word and prayer. The attributes of Christ begin to appear in our lives. This is to the Father’s glory and it becomes a display of our relationship to God.

John 15:5-7 I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. 6 If you do not remain in me, you are like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned. 7 If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.

Let go to John 13:35 I am going to show you something. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” The unbelievers recognized Jesus disciples not by their doctrinal distinctive, nor by dramatic miracles, nor even by their love for the loss. They recognized them by their deeds and their love for one another.

Which bring us back to John 15:8 Notice the striking parallel between the these verses and v13:35. The love of 13:35 is pictured as fruit here. This text has come into full circle in showing how strategic it it for disciple to love each other, as Christ method on evangelizing the lost. They shall know and Identify that you will be Christ disciple. In closing; Where there is good fruit, there are also seeds for propagation.

Access Faith By The Word

Romans 5:2

Through him we have also obtained access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
Romans 10:10 Let take this a little deeper to examine the righteousness of your heart. This is where God know the true believer. The heart of a man or woman is where your belief is the spirit of Gods word.

Today is no different then the earlier church we still have unbelievers who say that they're Christians the first sign of trouble in their lives or augmentation the arises in their daily walk with the normal people we come into contact with through anger, frustration, confrontations, or we might say just having a bad day. I know this very well I was guilty of this. In my days of the past when I was in the military thinking militaristic was the norm, challenged by the worldly natural of others I wouldn't give a second though of retaliation to stand my ground with words or physical altercation. For one I was not walking fully in Christ I was living according to the world and military values. I use myself as an example to show you our fleshly nature.

So when the storm come into your life, the next time your challenged or when the pressure is on you and your having doubt this is your nature thinking. This is not having faith to enter the power of grace.

With understanding we must align ourselves up with the word of God and have faith and believe in it.

2 Corinthians 4:13 Ans since we have the spirit of faith according to what is written. “I believe and therefore I spoke” we also believe and therefore we speak. Paul explained why he was willing to risk his life for the gospel. He belief in the gospel compelled him to tell others.

Mark 11:22-23 So Jesus said to them “ Have faith in God” I assuredly say, I say to you, Whoever say to the mountain. Be removed and cast into the sea and does not doubt in their hearts, but I believes that those things will be done.

Matthew 12:34 You brood of vipers! How can you speak good, when you are evil? For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.

Psalm 116:10 I believe therefor I speak, I am greatly afflicted. Paul spoke these words in 2 Corinthians 4:13 as proof of the scriptural hope of the resurrection of our savior Jesus Christ. In closing as Christians we must steadfast and meditate on God word and believe and have faith fully. The next time we are challenged we can speak from our heart and to surely stand in faith of God word to defend us through all situations and circumstances. Glory to God and be blessed. love you all Fb family and friends.

Show someone the way to God

Romans 10:14

But how can they call on him to save them unless they believe in him? And how can they believe in him if they have never heard about him? And how can they hear about him unless someone tells them?

In Acts 8 we find the story of a foreign dignitary from Ethiopia. As the queen's treasurer, he was a powerful man who would have traveled with an entourage. He went to Jerusalem in search of God, but found dead, lifeless religion instead. However, he obtained a scroll of Isaiah while he was there. And as it happened, he was traveling through the desert, reading aloud about the suffering of the Messiah, when God led Philip to go to him and share the gospel.
Philip saw him traveling along, reading from Isiah's scroll. So Philip walked up to him and said, "Do you understand what you are reading?" (verse 30). The man said, "How can I, unless someone instructs me?" Philip climbed up into the chariot, took the scroll, told him what it meant, and pointed him to Jesus. And before the day was over, that man had become a believer and left with joy in his heart and a spring in his step. This is what people are still looking for today: someone to show them the way.

There is one thing that Christians and non-Christians have in common: both are very uptight about evangelism. Christians are uptight about evangelizing, and non-Christians are uptight about being evangelized. But I think some of us give up way too easily. When we ask someone if anyone has ever told them about Jesus, or if we invite someone to church and they say no, we give up too easily. Instead, try asking, "Well, why do you say that? Did you have a bad experience in church?"

God has primarily chosen to reach people through people. So engage them, and most importantly, keep praying for them. Give it a try, and you will discover what a joy it is to tell others about Jesus.

Introduce a friend or family member to God Today, it will refresh and strengthen your walk and your purpose for God. Being able to bring another soul to Christ and teach them the way to salvation. God love them the same as He loves you, show them the same Love in return. Have a wonderful and bless day. God bless you all!!

Laborer For Jesus Christ

We are God's Fellow Workers
1 Corinthians 3:7-9
So neither he who plants nor he who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow. The man who plants and the man who waters have one purpose, and each will be rewarded according to his own labor. For we are God's fellow workers; you are God's field, God's building.

Paul had planted, or started, the church in Corinth; Apollos had watered it-had a significant ministry there after Paul left. But both men were only servants through whom God worked. The ones who plant and water have nothing to boast about because God gives the increase. Only God draws unbelievers to Himself. It is our responsibility to do our job no matter what the results, for God will reward us for our efforts and the quality of our work

Other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ." Are we placing the right kind of material upon the right foundation? If we lay upon the foundation wood, hay, stubble, sad indeed will be the result! Will that which we are bringing to the foundation endure the fire of the great day of God? Are we using our talents in the Master's service? Are we kind and courteous to all around us? Do we cherish in our hearts, and reveal in our lives, the principles of the truth?

If we constantly receive grace from God, we shall be vessels unto honor, sanctified and meet for the God use. Daily acquiring blessings, we shall daily provide blessings to those around us. But in order to be successful in this work, we must deny self. We cannot at the same time please self and serve Christ. We are not to follow our own inclinations, but look to Jesus, waiting to receive orders from our Lord. God is faithful. If we are willing to be taught, He will do His part in teaching us. Let us not ignore our part.

We are to labor together with God, working out our own salvation with fear and trembling, knowing that it is God will to work in us and to do of His mighty good pleasure. If we are faithful in doing our part, in co-operating with Him, God will work and manifest through us His will. But God cannot work through us if we make no effort. If we gain eternal life, we must work, and work seriously. If we lack in spiritual strength, we may know that we have failed of doing our part. Just as soon as the plan of salvation was devised and implemented by God, Satan began to work; and if we hope to stand firm against him, we must, and, we must work hard with conviction and authority protected with full armor of the Holy Spirit

We must follow the example Christ has left us, submitting to Him in everything. Our will must be in harmony with His will. The doing of God's will is essential if we would have an increased knowledge of Him. Let us not be deceived by the oft-repeated assertion, "All you have to do is to believe." Faith and works are two oars which we must use both equally if we press our way up the stream against the current of unbelief. "Faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone." The Christian is a man of thought and practice. His faith fixes its roots strongly in Christ. By faith and good works he keeps his spirituality strong and healthy, and his spiritual strength improves as we strives to labor the works of God.

There is a crown of eternal life to win, a heaven of bliss to gain. The way is challenging, and there is much climbing to do. But those who withstand the toil, urging their way through all obstacles, will receive their reward from the Father. Christ has a right to our entire obedience. "Know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's." "Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us, and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins." "While we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."

Why our Conscience Is Good

Hebrews 12:3–6
For consider Him who endured such hostility from sinners against Himself, Lest you become weary and discouraged in your soul You have not yet resisted to bloodshed, striving against sin. And have you forgotten the encouraging words God spoke to you as his children? He said, "My child, don't make light of the Lord's discipline, and don't give up when he corrects you. For the Lord disciplines those he loves, and he punishes each one he accepts as his child."

You never will stop sinning as long as you are breathing. Even if you are a Christian, you will sin. But there is a difference between being a sinner and living in a pattern of sin. And if you are a true Christian, you will not live in a pattern of sin.

As 1 John 3 says, "Those who have been born into God's family do not make a practice of sinning, because God's life is in them. So they can't keep on sinning, because they are children of God" (verse 9).

If you, as a Christian, start to move in the wrong direction and are contemplating doing something sinful, you come under the conviction of the Holy Spirit. The fact that you are aware it is wrong and that you should not be doing it is a good sign. And if you end up doing what you know is wrong and feel deep guilt about it, then that, too, is a good sign. It means the alarm on your conscience is working.

It is like a smoke alarm that alerts you to danger or the need to change the battery. That is how our conscience works. It tells us what we are doing is wrong.

The time to be concerned is when you can contemplate a sin and don't feel any conviction and when you can go through with the sin and don't feel any guilt. That means your alarm isn't working or has been disabled, or you don't even have one anymore.

Maybe you have sensed God's disciplining hand in your life. Maybe you have been convicted, or you are feeling guilt. Rejoice! It means your conscience is working. If God deals with you when you go astray, then it is an indication that you are His child.

Paul thoroughly addresses the issue of sinfulness and life as a Christian. Throughout the chapter, he describes how Christians have overcome the sinful nature with statements like:

  • "For we know that our old self was crucified with him so that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves to sin—because anyone who has died has been freed from sin." (Rom. 6:6-7)
  • "For sin shall not be your master, because you are not under law, but under grace." (Rom. 6:14)
  • "But thanks be to God that, though you used to be slaves to sin, you wholeheartedly obeyed the form of teaching to which you were entrusted. You have been set free from sin and have become slaves to righteousness." (Rom. 6:17-18)
  • "But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves to God, the benefit you reap leads to holiness, and the result is eternal life." (Rom. 6:22)

Then I acknowledged my sin to you and did not cover up my iniquity. I said, ‘I will confess my transgressions to the LORD’ – and you forgave the guilt of my sin” (Psalm 32:5).

  • “Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective” (James 5:16).
  • “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness” (1 John 1:9).
  • “There is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus” (Romans 8:1).

These verses remind us that:

  1. As Christians we will still sin.
  2. Though we are commanded not to sin, there is forgiveness through Jesus Christ.
  3. When we sin, there is a way to restore fellowship with God:
  • Confess that sin to God and to others.
  • Repent from the sin, asking God to change the direction of our lives.
  • Pray for each other; ask someone to pray for us.
  • Trust that God’s promises are true: He has forgiven us and no longer condemns us.

Jesus, who underwent torment and humiliation Jesus absorb all kinds of sins upon Himself to give us new life and to have it more abundantly (Salvation) for you and I. The world continue to struggle with sin. But the truth is, we are still sinners and will always battle with sin in our lives because we are inwardly bent towards sin. That is the reason God says in His Word that we need to confess our sins and rely on His promise to cleanse us:
