Fools Despise Wisdom and Discipline

Proverbs 1:7
The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and discipline.

In a day when we are trying to see how much we can get away with with the least effort, the kind of knowledge that honors God demands discipline and wisdom. Discipline takes effort and, at times, pain. Wisdom is the proper application of knowledge in a certain situation. When we know that God will ultimately judge all of His creation for how we use the resources that He provides for us, we have the fear of the Lord. That proper reverence is what causes us to tell the truth when no one cares, to act honorably when no one sees. This is the beginning of knowledge.

In the the fear of the Lord is the most basic ingredient in wisdom. All wisdom depends on knowledge of God and submission to His will. Always remember this to know something but not to know God overturns the value to having knowledge in the first place. Fools have reject the fear of the Lord. The term despise packs a strong negative punch against God, not fearing God is the same as rejecting wisdom outright (see Daniel 11:32 and John 17:3 ) Words of wisdom are instruction that come from your parent to appeal to their children.

God has giving the tool and resource “ His Divine Word “ the Bible the living word of God that give knowledge and guidance to those who seek His instructions. Have a bless and wonderful day in the Lord continue to feed your spirit with Gods divine “Word” into your heart. This spiritual food is an important ingredient to nourishes our soul with the power of God grace and mercy the greatest gift God have given to us for free..
