There Is Power In Gods Spoken Words

I Declare and Decree in Jesus name

The Word of God has awesome power. Speak it, and watch God work!
Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart. So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ.
For the word of God is quick and powerful: This is to be understood of Christ, the essential Word of God; for the Word of God was a known name of the Messiah among the Jews; (See John 1:1) and therefore the apostle makes use of it when writing to them: and the words are introduced as a reason why care should be taken, that men fall not off from the Gospel, because Christ, the author, sum, and substance of it, is the living God, omnipotent and omniscient; for not a thing, but a person is spoken of, who is a Judge, and a critical discern of the secrets of man’s hearts: and certain it is, that this Word is spoken of as a person, and is said to be a priest in the following verses; to which may be added, that the several things said of the Word exactly agree with Christ: he is "the Word of God"; as the word is the birth of the mind, he is the only begotten of the Father; he is the Word that spoke for the elect in the council and covenant of grace, and that spoke all things out of nothing in creation; he is the Word that has been promised, and spoken of by the prophets from the beginning of the world; and is the interpreter of his Father's mind, and our Advocate with the Father: he is quick, or, as it may be better rendered, "living"; he has life in himself as God, he is the living God; he is the living Redeemer and Mediator, and he lives for ever as man; he is the author and giver of life, natural, spiritual, and eternal: and he is powerful, as he appears to be in the creation and sustaining of all things; in his miracles and ministrations; in the work of man's redemption; in the preservation of his people, and in his advocacy and intercession:

And sharper than any two-edged sword; or "more cutting than one", by the words of his mouth, by the power of his Spirit, and the efficacy of his grace; for his mouth itself is as a sharp sword, and out of it comes forth one, ( Isaiah 49:2 ) ( Revelation 19:13 Revelation 19:15 ) by which he pierces the hearts of men, cuts them to the quick, and lays them open. Jehovah is called a two-edged sword with the Jews; and Philo the Jew speaks of the flaming sword of the Logos.

Piercing even to the dividing asunder soul and spirit, and of the
joints and marrow; the like property Philo the Jew ascribes to the "Logos", or Word; he calls him, "a cutter", and says he cuts and divides all things, even all sensible things, yea, atoms, and things indivisible; the apostle seems here to have respect to the several names with which the soul of man is called by the Jews, "soul, spirit, and breath"; the latter of these, they say, dwells between the other two. Some by the soul understand the natural and unregenerate part in man, and by the spirit the renewed and regenerate part, which though sometimes are not so easily distinguished by men, yet they are by Christ; others think the soul designs the inferior faculties, the affections; and the spirit the superior ones, the mind and understanding; but the apostle's meaning seems to be this, that whereas the soul and spirit are invisible, and the joints and marrow are covered and hid; so sharp and quick sighted, and so penetrating is the divine Word, that it reaches the most secret and hidden things of men: and this sense is confirmed by what follows,

And is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart;
Christ knows what is in man; he is the searcher of the hearts, and the trier of the reins of the children of men; and this will be more apparent at the last day, when he will make manifest the counsels of the heart, and will critically inquire, and accurately judge of them.
God's holy inspired Word has several characteristics that guarantee powerful results. First, it is infused with the power of the Holy Spirit. It has been said that a Bible that is falling apart usually belongs to a person who isn't. That is because God's Word is energetic and active, speaking to today's world and our own personal needs and circumstances.
Second, God's word is truth. It awakens our conscience. With the power to reach into the private corners of our hearts, the Word bares our motives and secret feelings and reveals our hidden longings.
Third, God's Word discerns our true character. It exposes the weakness in our attitudes and conduct, enabling us to correct ourselves by the power of His Holy Spirit.

As you study this lesson, I urge you to begin hiding the Word of God in your heart, drawing upon its wisdom for your life. Remember that God's Word will never return to Him void, but will most certainly accomplish what it was sent to do. Share the Word with a friend, bearing witness to the faithfulness of our wonderful Lord and the power and authority of His Holy Spirit.

Reason Why We Should Give Thanks (Everyday) Not Just On Thanksgiving Day !!!

https://www.facebook.com/Welcome-To-Disciple-In-Christ-Ministry-and-Bible-Study-423462057706811/

Thanksgiving is a way we should give thanks and how to express gratitude. You can find many instances in the Bible that talk about giving thanks to God and Jesus for all the blessings they provide us. It's so easy during the holiday season to be overwhelmed with all the tasks and activities to do. We often forget to stop and reflect on why we should be celebrating. Forget the food, forget the decorations, forget the shopping and read these Bible verses to meditate on all the ways God blesses us! Share these Scriptures with your family and friends this Thanksgiving to help bring peace and joy to a season that is normally run by anxiety and stress! Giving thanks always and for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ

Philippians 4:6-7

Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Thanksgiving Day is a time to reflect and be thankful for all that God has given us to reflect on. Although we mostly consider Thanksgiving Day to be something that is celebrated only in the United States of America, did you know other countries celebrate similar holidays and feasts? For example:

India celebrates harvest in various regions
  • Canada celebrates thanksgiving in October
  • The cornucopia is traced back to the ancient Greeks and Romans. It comes from Greek mythology and was said to be a “horn of plenty” that was given by the Greek god Zeus. The horn was believed to magically produce an endless supply of anything desired by the one who owns the horn.
  • The Chinese Festival of “Chung Ch’ui” — on this day many in China eat moon cakes (small yellow cakes) to celebrate the harvest moon
  • The Jewish feast of Sukkot is observed during the harvest season
  • Ancient Egyptians had a feast in honor of Min, the god of harvest and fertility
Victory and Homeland Thanksgiving Day is celebrated in Croatia on August 5th. But rather than a thanksgiving holiday it is really a memorial to the day that the city of Knin was seized by the Croatian Army during the War of Independence.
  • Other countries such as Germany, Brazil, Ghana, Nigeria and Korea also have thanksgiving and/or harvest festivals.
We need not only be thankful one day a year but celebrate the greatness of our God with thanks everyday! Psalm 95:1-6 - O Come, let us sing for joy to the LORD; Let us shout joyfully to the rock of our salvation. Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving; Let us shout joyfully to Him with psalms. For the LORD is a great :God, And a great King above all gods, In whose hand are the depths of the earth; The peaks of the mountains are His also. The sea is His, for it was He who made it; And His hands formed the dry land. Come, let us worship and bow down; Let us kneel before the LORD our Maker. How have you been blessed by the Lord?

Why we should be thankful what God has giving us:
1. Gods unfailing Love (Psalms 107)
2. Gods Mighty grace “Given to you in Christ” (1 Corinthians1:4)
3. Victory “Through our Lord Jesus Christ” (1 Corinthians 15:57)
4. Gods “Righteous laws” (Psalms 119:62)
5. The faith of others to sustain a cheer us (Philemon 1:4)

We are to be thankful for what God has done :
6. God has “answered me...[and] become my salvation” (Psalm 118:21).
7. Jesus has redeemed us. “While we were still sinners, Christ died for us” (Romans 5:8).
8. God has qualified us “to share in the inheritance of the saints in the kingdom of light” (Colossians 1:12).

We are to be thankful for who God is :
9. “God is good; His love endures forever” (1 Chronicles 16:34).
10. God is “faithful and just” (1 John 1:9).
Develop our hearts to be thankful does many good things. It gives compassion, love, and purpose. It keeps us from bitterness, arrogance and discouragement. It protects us from letting our lives be defined by what we don’t have. It keeps us humble and reminds us of our need for God everyday. Happy Thanksgiving to all this coming week and beyond. Everyday is Thanksgiving be blessed always in the love of Christ Jesus…..

Faith Comes Hearing and By The Word of God

A man cannot believe unless they heed. Faith comes by audience, audience by the Word of God. It is through the Word of God that we coming to know God. Knowing God we come to believe and believe in God. The Word of God is essential for the evolution of verily within my spirit. Many clock lede essay, "Oh, I wish I had more religion," and I expect that frequently we almost abuse God by our want of fidelity.

So then faith comes by earshot, and audience by the language of God: Saving confidence comes through sound by the account of God. Though Israel auricular, they did not use saving constancy in Christ – making them (and us) all the more answerable.

I had a Jewish friend who came to me one night "Well,Keith, my father is a very religious people. He specimen his prayers every day. He discover Sabbath; he loves God. Do you slavish to recite me that because my adopt does not expect that Jesus is the Messiah that he is missing?" And I face him, "That is a very troublesome investigation for me, because I do think that your progenitor does pet God, has a jealousy for God, but what is he o circularly his trespass? When God established His bargain with Israel, God established the inconstant offerings that they must bring to Him for their wrong. God established that they had to fetch an animal and kill the animal in their assist, that their trespass must be transferred onto the savage and the animal butcher. Your father is not proffering molochite. He is not approaching accordingly to the covenant that God established by Moses for trespass to be absolve. Thus, how can your father have the remission of sins which is essential for partnership with God?" He told me how that they now feel that their admirable performance will become them canny to God. Thus, their excellent business must outweigh their bad composition. Thus, they are try for a equity from works, their useful embroidery, and they have disown that purity that God has established for them. They are no really disobedient against God"s passage of honesty, goods established now their own righteousness by performance, as Paul here affirm. But they are not even doing the employment that God requires in the proffering of a sacrifice. And thus, I have immense trouble with their personage and current state before God. For the Jew boo-boo at Jesus Christ going approximately by works afflict to establish a faithfulness before God.

We are told in Jude that one of the ways by which we keep ourselves in that place of blessing, the blessings of God"s friendship, is building up ourselves in the most pious faith. And, of passage, the way we make up ourselves in the most pious confidence is through the Word. It is hard to hope somebody you sir savvy. When a person comes up to me and temper, "Oh, I have the hardest period trustful God," what they are no really maxim is, "I in fact don"t savvy God very well." Because if you with God well you will have no question trusting in Him at all.

In all of these motion (and the undiminished Old Testament also), the audiences auricular the Word of God being spoken by someone reading the out loud. From hearing, they believed, and faith came to them as it was granted to them by God. Thus, indeed, “faith comes by hearing.” This idea is recapitulate by Paul in the Book of Galatians:

I have heard people implore, "Oh, Lord, help me to believe. Just help me to trust." I wonder what my answer would be if I came you and-mentioned,  I have evident to take you out for entertainment tonight, thought we would go out and get original Barbecue ribs." You would be tempered, "Oh, help me to trust you,  normally help me to think about what you ask of me." This would make me wonder what kind of a character am I that you having such a solid season believing me. Yet, how many set and take covenant of God and say, "Oh, God, just help me to think. Help me to expect, Lord." Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God.
