Palm Sunday

As we come closer to Easter Sunday, I want you to learn and understand why Jesus suffered on the cross for you and me. Why did Jesus have to die?

As Jesus came into the city. The people were weeping with sorrow the Jesus said to them. Most assuredly, I say to you that you will weep and Lament, but the world will rejoice; and you will be sorrowful, but your sorrow will turned to joy. Judas had betrayed Jesus with the high priest to give Jesus up for 30 pieces of silver. Judas relationship with the devil will soon find him, not fully understanding the deal that transpired would surely cost him dearly.
Note; think about what Judas has done, he really sold himself to the devil for 30 pieces of silver..

John18:1-11 the arrest of Jesus in the garden of Gethsemane near Jerusalem
Jesus taken Peter, John and James with him to the garden locate at Brook Kidron, between Jerusalem and Mount Olives. That was a place where Jesus met with His disciple and Judas knew this place. Meanwhile in the garden Jesus was experiencing and feeling epic loneliness, and my soul is overwhelmed. He ask the three disciple to stay awake while He was praying. Jesus sadden by the fact he had to awaken his disciple twice.

Then Judas , having received a detachment of troop and officers of the chief priest and the Pharisees. Jesus therefore knew all things came upon them. Jesus went forward asking them. “ whom are you seeking?” they answered Him Jesus of Nazareth Jesus said “I am He” He reply twice “ I am He” the second time troop fell down. Jesus could have destroyed them right there , but he didn’t

note: Christ unveiled His majesty, His statement of deity I am , manifested such glory that it literally threw the soldiers to the ground. . Secondly,
Knowing all things – Knowing He was about to be arrested Jesus could have escaped, but He did not. He submitted Himself voluntarily to the ordeal that was ordained by God. Thirdly, the contrast between Peter and Jesus by fighting the guard Peter vehemently exercise his own self will; Jesus in contrast voluntarily submitted t the will of God. One swung of the sword of self-will, cutting off the right ear of one of the soldier. The other drank from the cup of god will. Ref: Matthew 16:22-23 Now in Luke 22:51 Jesus mercifully restored the soldier’s ear.

Reason why Jesus died for us:

1st Ephesians 5:25 – To show Gods love for us.

2nd Ezekiel 18:20 and 2Corinthians 5:21 - To receive the wrath of God.

3rd John 12: 31-32 and Colossians 2:14-15 Naturalize Satan and cancel the legal command against us. ( Jesus canceled all your debt) at the cross.

4th Jesus suffered and died for our sin to give us salvation and a path to the heavenly kingdom..

At the Cross - Celebrating Jesus Risen

The crucifixion of Jesus Christ

The second Roman trail before Pilate, as Governor Pilate was confused, whatever decision he made therefore will cause a rebellion among the people, If he didn’t condemn Jesus the Caiaphas would have started a rebellion, Pilate to ease the tension he decision as annual event to release a prisoner, instead of releasing Jesus back to the people, the Pharisees wanted Jesus condemn and crucified they call for the release of Barabbas a notorious murderer back to the people. John 19:14 it was Preparation Day of the Passover about the six hour, the people and the Pharisees shouted ‘Crucify Him” Pilate Commissioned judgment upon Jesus to be crucified. Then they took Jesus a led Him away.

Jesus bearing His cross, He carried it out to a place called “ the place of skull. In Hebrew its call Golgotha. This place is where Jesus and two other men were to crucified, the two were placed one on either side and Jesus in the center. Note: Its was a Roman custom to write the name of the condemned person and he crime on a plaque to be placed above the head at the execution. Mark 15:26 it was written in three languages Hebrew , Greek, and Latin because the people in the local city spoke either one of the three languages. The chief priest said to Pilate “Do not write” The King of the Jews, but He said “I Am” The King of the Jews Pilate said in a final answered What I have written is written..

Note: The soldiers had no respect or regard for Jesus death, they conveniently divided the outer garments and cast lots with the inner garments unknowingly, the soldiers fulfilled David’s prophecy in Ps.22:18.

After this Joseph of Aimathea a rich man of the Jewish council and a secretly a disciple of Christ for fear of the Jews, asked Pilate to give him permission to take the body of Jesus, Pilate granted Joseph permission. Nicodemus secretly came to ask Jesus a personal question by night to avoid any outside witnesses who would identify him. Nicodemus provided myrrh and aloe about a hundred pound for Jesus body to bound it into strips of linen with the spices as a custom for the Jewish burial. The burial was located in a garden a new tomb and it wasn’t far from the where He was crucified in the garden.

Note: During the crucifixion there were only one disciple present, He dearly loved was John. Accompanied Jesus mother Mary. Where Jesus place His mother Mary in the care of John.

The Resurrection:
While it was still dark Mary Magdalene arrived ahead of the other women to the tomb. She noticed the stone was removed from the tomb. Then she ran back to inform Peter and the other disciples. Peter and the disciple ran to the tomb, Peter lagged behind and arrived after everyone else. Note: Peter after denying Jesus three time and was ashamed and despaired to face Jesus. But curious to find out what happen to His body. Peter was first to enter the tomb and saw the linen cloth were lying there. Later the two Angels appeared to Mary when she was sitting outside looking into the tomb one sitting where Jesus head would be, the other at the feet they ask her why are you weeping. When she turned around and saw person she didn’t recognize. He said woman why are you weeping. She replied that Jesus body has been taken away. When Jesus said Mary name she identified His voice and Said Rabboni.(teacher) Jesus asked her not to cling to Him because He hasn’t ascended to the Father yet!

Jesus appeared to Mary first then the disciple without Thomas and then again in the present of the disciple with Thomas. Before He ascended to the Father in heaven..

I Am The LORD, And There Is No Other

Isaiah 45:18
For this is what the LORD says - he who created the heavens,
he is God; he who fashioned and made the earth,  he founded it; he did not create it to be empty, but formed it to be inhabited - he says:  "I am the LORD, and there is no other”.

Previously in the chapter, God discloses His plan to use King Cyrus to reestablish the nation of Israel and rebuild the city of Jerusalem. Here, God declares that he is the creator of the heavens and the earth, and He did not create them in vain but for the benefit of humanity. Together, the two themes highlight that God intended the region promised to Abraham to be populated by the Jewish people, despite their current exile in Babylon. And, He will ensure that His intentions come to pass. Christians can also take comfort knowing that God created and redeemed us to participate in His plans of eternal significance on the earth. Therefore, if we surrender our lives to Him, He will ensure we accomplish those purposes.

Mystery of Gods knowledge

Colossians 2:2-3
My goal is that they may be encouraged
in heart and united in love

Friday's Message
Mystery of Gods knowledge
Colossians 2:2-3
My goal is that they may be encouraged in heart and united in love

My goal is that they may be encouraged in heart and united in love, so that they may have the full riches of complete understanding, in order that they may know the mystery of God, namely, Christ, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. – Colossians 2:2-3 (NIV)

Though the false teachers at Colosse spoke of initiating people into a superior knowledge Paul explains and teaches his reader that you can understand the mystery (see v 1:26 –27) of God without this false philosophy. The Gnostic sought knowledge as an end in itself, but Paul reminds the Colossians that true knowledge will demonstrates itself by bringing people together in Christian love in the church. Now see how Paul joins the Father and the Christians together, emphasizing their common deity and unity. The Gnostics would view Jesus only as an emanation from the Father, sharing portion of the attributes of deity.

Paul not only emphasizes Jesus deity, but also explains that He possesses all wisdom and knowledge. The Gnostics thought only certain knowledgeable people could join their elite group, Paul again teaches that every believer has access to complete wisdom found in Christ.

According to the apostle Paul, when we try to understand the life of Jesus, we are stepping into a treasure chest of wisdom and knowledge. But like most wisdom, our inquiries start as a mystery. The mystery of Christ as the God-man helps us to face our sufferings with the One who experienced our pain. The mystery of the resurrection empowers us with hope for situations that would lead us to despair. Learn about Jesus Christ so that you can live encouraged in heart and have the full riches that God wants to give us. This is through faith and deliverance by God grace and mercy another free gift to the believer. The power of discernment and understanding of Gods knowledge and wisdom through the Holy Spirit.

My Business is with Jesus

Matthew 8:34
Photo: Wednesday's Message
My Business is with Jesus
Matthew 8:34
The whole city came out to meet Jesus. And when they saw Him, they begged Him to depart from their region. Some thinks “Jesus” is bed for business?

You would think that after the miracle of casting out demons from two men who had violently oppressed them, the people in the area would have said, "Jesus, You are the man! We love what you did! Now we can go back to the cemetery and pay our respects to our loved ones and put flowers on their graves. We wouldn't even go near there before. These guys were scary. Thank you, Lord, for coming to our community." But that is not what happened. Instead, they wanted Him to go away. Why? It was because Jesus was bad for business.

Jesus had cast the demons out of the men and into a herd of swine that went over a cliff. I don't know if those who kept the herd were Jewish, because if they were, this was not a kosher thing to be doing. They had been making money off the pigs, and there was no more bringing home the bacon for them. It was the end of that story. So they thought, We don't like this. This is bad for our economy. Go away.

For some people, Jesus is bad for their business. It is typically the kind of business that preys on human suffering—even contributes to it. And if you have discovered that Jesus is bad for your business, then you need to get another job.

In the region of the Gadarenes, the people realized that Jesus wasn't good for what they did, and therefore, they wanted Him to go away. Matthew's Gospel tells us, "The whole city came out to meet Jesus. And when they saw Him, they begged Him to depart from their region" (Matthew 8:34). So guess what Jesus did? He left.
Jesus won't force His way into anyone's life, including yours. Have you invited Him in?

Genuine Love for God

1 Corinthians 8:3
How can ANYONE doubt the power of GOD? Look at the last trial you went through. When you HONESTLY put in GOD's hands and put less of yourself into it, didn't it work, out just fine? See, we as human can only see a little down the road. GOD can see the final destination. Leave it in the hands of GOD! All glory goes to our Father...only the mistakes are mine!

How can you tell if you really love God? Here are some indicators of whether your love for God is real.

You will long for personal communion with Him. When you really love someone, you like to spend time with him or her. And if you really love God, then you will want to be in fellowship with Him. You will love the things that He loves. We know what God loves by what He has declared in His Word. The psalmist said, "I rejoice at Your word as one who finds great treasure" (Psalm 119:162).You will hate the things that He hates. Psalm 97:10 says, "Let those who love the Lord hate evil.

" Romans 12:9 tells us to "abhor what is evil" and "cling to what is good." See evil as God sees it. You will love other Christians. In 1 John 3:14 we read, "We know that we have passed from death to life, because we love the brethren. He who does not love his brother abides in death." Don't say that you love God while you harbor hatred toward fellow believers.

You will long for the return of Jesus Christ. The apostle Paul wrote, "Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing" (2 Timothy 4:8). A Christian who loves God looks forward to Christ's return.

You will keep His commandments. Jesus said, "He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. " (John 14:21). If you love God, then you will do what He says. If you love God, the proof will be in your actions. Others will be able to recognize and see the glow of Christ in you, It will radiant like sunshine upon you like the sun. Your conviction and dedication in studying and living His divine word. This will show in your biblical knowledge. My lovely friends and family. Have a bless day in Christ.

Unconditional Love of Jesus

1 Timothy 2:3–4
 Photo: Monday's Message
Unconditional Love of Jesus
1 Timothy 2:3–4
For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.

People sometimes ask, "Do you think God would hear the prayer of some wicked person who called upon Him even in the very last moments of his life—if that person had done horrible things? Would God pardon a person like that?" Absolutely He would.
Sometimes we have loved ones who died and never made a profession of faith. And we may conclude they did not go to heaven. But we don't know that. Were you with these loved ones in the last moments of their lives? Were you there when they took their last breath? How do you know that he or she did not call on Jesus?

Here is what you do know. God loved them and wanted them to be saved. As 1 Timothy 2:4 says, God "desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth."
When Judas arrived in the Garden of Gethsemane to betray Jesus, Jesus said to him, "Friend, why have you come?" (Matthew 26:50). Jesus was giving Judas one last chance to repent. And I believe that if Judas had stopped right there and said, "Lord, I messed up. I don't know what I was thinking. Forgive me," then Jesus would have pardoned him. Why? Because God says, "I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but that the wicked turn from his way and live. Turn, turn from your evil ways!" (Ezekiel 33:11). Jesus loved Judas to the very end. He was His friend. But His friend betrayed Him, and this broke His heart.

what about the two men that was nailed to cross with during Jesus crucifixion One on the right one on the left, the one on the right was still defiant and resentment, but the on the left confronted his wrongdoing as a criminal and believed in Jesus and Jesus had pardon him while the three were being sentence to death there at the cross. Jesus said to his and promise him that he would join Jesus in paradise that very day. (Luke 23:39-43)

I don't want to give false assurance and suggest that everyone is in heaven, because they are not. But I am saying that if they called on the Lord in the last moments of their lives, He pardoned and forgave them. Have a wonderful week to come. Be blessed and may God always be the light that shine in your path in your walk with Jesus... God Bless You with Love!

Prayer and Revival

 2 Chronicles 7:14
Saturday's Message
Prayer and Revival
2 chronicles 7:14
Prayer is an indispensable element in revival. The great revivals of Biblical faith in history have been occasioned with two things: the proclamation of God’s Word and prayer. Revival cannot be “worked up;” it must be sent down from the Father. But we can pray that God would again visit His people with a quickening Spirit,. and revival, and the joy that comes through that. Even the great “revival verse” of the Bible, 2 Chronicles 7:14, says “If my people, who are called by my name, shall humble themselves and pray…” We want to consider how prayer is so important to God’s people in receiving revival.

PRAYER IS CHARACTERISTIC OF BIBLICAL REVIVAL
The revivals which occurred in Old Testament Israel and Judah were preceded by the plaintive cries of kings, prophets, and ordinary people to the Lord for revival. The promise in 2 Chronicles 7:14 begins with God’s people seeking Him and praying for God to work afresh in their hearts. Habakkuk 3:2 records the prophet’s plea, “O Lord, revive Your work.” The Psalms ask the Lord, “Will You not revive us again?” (Psalms 85:6).

Prayer preceded the first coming of our Lord Jesus. In the four hundred “silent years” in which the voice of the Lord was not heard–godly people prayed for the Lord to visit them again as He did in the days of Moses and Elijah. In Luke’s Gospel, we find that Simeon and Anna, two aged saints, had engaged in prayer that they might see God’s work again in their lifetimes (Luke 2:25, 37). God graciously answered that prayer when they laid eyes on that little baby who had been born to be the Savior.

Acts 2 finds the early church gathered in a prayer meeting. While seeking the Lord’s face-in response to Jesus’ command before He ascended into Heaven–the Holy Spirit was poured out upon those faithful believers. The result was the power to go into all the world. God had provided the means necessary for them to carry out His command. Again, prayer preceded the mighty manifestation of God’s work.

PRAYER RECOGNIZES OUR NEED FOR REVIVAL
Many disdain the need for revival today. There seems to be an attitude that everything is spiritually well, and there is no need for anything additional. While it is true that every Christian has everything necessary to rightly live the Christian life (Ephesians 1:3), there is still the fact that the church and many-if not most–Christians have a worldly mind-set. How can we appropriate the blessings we possess if we don’t even see the necessity for consecrated Christian living? How can God bless a church where sin is excused and the teaching of the Bible is ignored or neglected? There have been churches in which persons serving on the board have been living together with a person of the opposite sex without the commitment of an honorable marriage. Other churches support divorced and remarried persons and openly homosexual persons in leadership positions. There seems to be little regard for issues such as biblical modesty. In general, churches no longer present a clear alternative to what the world offers.

Praying for revival means that we understand that we have backslidden in our Christian walk. We have lost our first love, and need to go back and do the things we did when first born again (Revelation 2:4-5). Remember what it was like when you first trusted Christ as your Savior? It was hard to stay away from the meetings of the church. God’s Word seemed so wonderful and invigorating. Has it remained so in your Christian experience?

Prayer confesses that we have sinned against God. Much praying today is praying for self (James 4:3). We do not see how great our sin is before a holy God, and we try to minimize it or justify it, saying, “Oh, it’s not that bad.” But sin is serious, and needs to be confessed. The 2 Chronicles passage says that God’s people need to “turn from their wicked ways.” Repentance is needed today. We need repentance for proud hearts, for lack of concern for the purity of the church, for lack of love for the lost, for prayerlessness, for spiritual laziness. We need to repent of our vain pursuit of this world’s goods, and of this world’s fame.

PRAYER ACKNOWLEDGES THAT REVIVAL IS GOD’S WORK (PSALMS 85:6)
Ours is an age of style over substance. Many think that revival means promotion, slick advertising, charismatic leadership, and emotional preaching. There may be a big show, but what is the end result–the fruit? Heaven-sent revival is seen in the long-term, life changing effect of the Gospel. Man-centered attempts simply utilize technique, making it appear that revival is a mechanical formula to be followed. True, one can get a crowd with a smooth presentation, and get people to stand or come forward in a meeting with psychological tricks, but that is not evidence that God is working in peoples’ lives for real change.

The Bible is uniform in teaching that God sends revival to prepared people. God is the One who forgives our sin, and heals our land. We cannot do it ourselves. It is God who revives His work. It is God who will revive us again. We are not commanded to be revived, but are told to be faithful, and to be ready. When we pray for revival, we are asking God to do the work within us. We ask God to refresh us in the way that only He can. As with salvation, we accept that we are unable to do it ourselves. Prayer for revival embraces our dependence on God. We admit our helplessness to cause God’s power to fall upon us. He must do it.

It is necessary that Christians be prepared to receive revival. To this end, we pray for it. We ask God to soften our hearts. We pursue holiness. We seek to be faithful to God. We are active in His work. We do not neglect the assembling of ourselves together, but in light of Jesus’ soon return, we do love being with His people (Hebrews 10:25). But these things, of themselves, do not constitute revival–they are forerunners of revival. In the end, God must send revival to His people. Revival is a challenge that only God can meet.

Some have credited the lack of revival in our day to the lack of prominent godly leaders. While this may be a factor, it must be understood that having prominent leaders with charisma and strong personality traits is not a prerequisite to revival. Rather, godly men rise to prominence in God’s time to meet the spiritual needs of the church (Ephesians 4:11-12). When God sends revival, He will be sure to send the personnel necessary to care for the results of revival.

PRAYER CULTIVATES THE BELIEVER’S SPIRITUAL LIFE
When we pray for revival, we are obeying God’s directive to “break up your fallow ground, For it is time to seek the LORD, Till He comes and rains righteousness on you” (Hosea 10:12). Our lives must be made available for God to sow the seed. We may think that taking our seemingly valuable time in our busy world to get alone with God seems out of place when there is so much to “do.” Yes, there are people to visit, lessons to prepare, and a load of other needful things to do as believers in Christ. Yet the most important thing–praying–should not be overlooked as if it is a trivial point in relation to revival.

Prayer tunes our minds to the same note as God’s will. It is not we asking God to do our bidding. It is the gradual changing of our minds and wills to mirror those of God. In calling out to God for revival, we are agreeing with Him that revival is needed in our lives. Our spiritual life is not as it should be, and needs the power of God afresh.
In connection with prayer, fasting and other spiritual disciplines are useful in preparing our hearts to receive revival. Those things which draw us to seeking God’s face, and shut out the distractions of the world, should be carefully used to draw our attention to God and His Word.

PRAYER ASSUMES OUR DESPERATION FOR GOD
In 2 Chronicles 20, Judah was -faced with a terrifying situation of being surrounded by three armies. While Judah, under King Jehoshaphat, had done much to restore the right worship of the Lord, there was a temptation to rely on their own resources for their defense. But Jehoshaphat desired that the Lord receive the glory for the defeat of their enemies, and to show the people that God could be trusted to care for His people. He even acknowledged that “we are helpless, but our eyes are on You.” In other words, only God could effectively deal with the need.
John Knox, the Scots Reformer, prayed, “Give me Scotland, or I die!” George Whitefield, the co-worker of John Wesley, said, “Give me souls or take my life.” Such desperation in prayer is rarely heard today. Prayers are not bold pleas to God for revival, for the reason that many Christians are not interested in having a new visitation of God. Like Israel at Sinai, many would like to have the benefits of God without God Himself. But the conscientious Christian desires, as David did, God Himself. “As the deer pants for the water, so my soul longs after You, O God” (Psalms 42:1).

FOR WHAT SHOULD CHRISTIANS BE PRAYING WITH REFERENCE TO REVIVAL?
Christians should not merely pray for “revival meetings.” The desire for revival is the desire that God Himself visit His people in an extraordinary way. Martin Lloyd-Jones, in Revival (pages 174-186), wrote that when we pray for the powerful manifestation of God’s presence, we ask for the following:

 1) Ask for the certain assurance of His presence. Moses, in Exodus 33:12-17, knew that he was in God’s care, but he desired more. He wanted to see God Himself. He wanted to know, without a shadow of a doubt, that God was with him as he led the Israelites to the Promised Land. Those who really love the Lord are not content with knowing Him in a distant way.

 2) Ask for renewed spiritual power (1 Corinthians 2:3-5). The church seems to suffer with a lack of energy. Much of this can be attributed to the many secular activities with which our energy is dissipated. But there is a lack of spiritual zeal, or fervor, or power. See how church attendance swings so wildly. Note the continual drop in active members. Look at the general complacency of even Bible believing Christians. Believers need to ask God to invigorate them with new power to carry forth the Gospel. Our strength, as the Apostle Paul says, is in God, and not in ourselves.

 3) Ask for God to move to show that the Church is really His people (Exodus 33:16). How does the world really know that the church is God’s chosen people today? “What is needed is something that is so striking…that it will arrest the attention of the whole world. That is revival. Revival always does that.” (Lloyd-Jones, Revival, page 183). People noticed the church in the book of Acts, during the Reformation, during the Methodist revival of the 1700s, the 1857 revival, and the 1904-05 Welsh revival. It was obvious that those events were not the works of men, but instead they were the works of God in men.

Christians should pray for themselves and for others to be revived. Pastors, ministers, and evangelists ought to be prayed for as they prepare messages to communicate God’s Word. Messages that conform to the Word of God are sure to cause offense among complacent Christians and those who belong to the world. Those who write commentaries, books, and articles should be committed to the Lord as they do the important work which may be read for years to come. Parents should pray that their children see the work and fruit of revival.

If even a few believers begin to pray for revival in the church, God will grant change. God has promised to move in response to prayer, “Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know” (Jeremiah 33:3). We are limited, but prayer taps the unlimited power of our Almighty God.

We Need A Revival

Put Your Heart Into Your Prayers

Acts 12:5

Friday's Message
Put Your Heart Into Your Prayers
Acts 12:5

Peter was therefore kept in prison, but constant prayer was offered to God for him by the church.

Acts 12 records the story of a crisis situation in the early church. James had been put to death by King Herod. Peter had been arrested and was clearly next. So what did the church do? They prayed. But they didn't pray just any old prayer. They prayed with passion. We read that "constant prayer was offered to God for him [Peter] by the church." I love that.

The phrase "constant prayer" could be translated "earnest prayer" or "stretched outwardly." It is reaching for something. Have you ever dropped an item that was just beyond your reach, and you were straining to get it? That is how the church was praying. Theirs was not a casual, yawning, Lord-help-Peter kind of prayer. This was a storm-the-gates-of-heaven kind of prayer. They were not backing down. And guess what? Their prayers were heard.

Prayers are forever most important in my walk with God. From my experience in my early days coming to Christ I never knew how to pray I was lost for words. I felt that God wasn't hearing me and I struggled for many years. Until God show me how to really pray in His word how to make this connection with Him in the spirit. Today I found myself uttering in tongue and tear falling from my eyes and my spirit yawning with passion making a deeper communication with God. Thank you Lord for showing me the way.

When a Gentile woman begged Jesus to heal her demon-possessed daughter, He told her, "It is not good to take the children bread and throw it to the little dogs" (Matthew 15:26).

She could have stormed away, but instead she answered, "Yes, Lord, yet even the little dogs eat the crumbs which fall from their masters' table" (verse 27). Jesus was not pushing her away; He was drawing her in. He knew her faith was great. And because of her persistence, her daughter was healed the same day.

Sometimes when the answer to our prayer doesn't come right away, we assume that God is saying no. Maybe. But maybe He wants us to keep praying—with persistence.

This is the kind of prayer that prevails with God, the prayer into which we put our whole soul, reaching out toward God in agonizing desire. Much of our prayer has no power in it because we put so little heart into it. Pray with Intensity and Fire in your heart and soul. Our Lord taught men to pray to God as Father. That is the central fact of His teaching. "When ye pray say, Our Father, which art in heaven." He rebukes all parade and pretense in prayer. It must be in the secret place, and the door must be shut. Within the secret place there must be simplicity and sincerity. Our Lord Himself prayed with intensity and importunity. He rose early to pray. He spent all nights in prayer.

The Epistle to the Hebrews (5:7) tells us that He offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears. The awe of Gethsemane is full of mystery. He called upon God as Father, but in His praying there was the sweat and agony of blood. "He kneeled down and prayed, saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done... and being in an agony he prayed more earnestly: and his sweat became as it were great drops of blood falling down upon the ground" (Luke 22:41-44). Saint Matthew (26: 38-46) tells us that He prayed a third time using the same words. Prayer is a discipline and an education. Jesus spake divine wisdom when He forbade us to cast pearls before swine: it is contrary to the divine order. Intensity is a law of prayer. God is found of those who seek Him with all their heart. Brothers and Sisters and God bless you in your walk with Christ everyday. In Love!

Are You Ready to Meet God

Revelation 20:11

Ready to Meet God
Revelation 20:11

"Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away. And there was found no place for them."

If you are a Christian, the idea of a final judgment shouldn't frighten you. Here is the good news: Though it is true there will be a final judgment, it is also true that you won't be there. Christians will be judged, but it will be more like an awards ceremony that will take place in heaven as rewards are meted out for faithful service to the Lord. It will not be a judgment as to whether or not you go to heaven.

You see, when believers die, they don't go before God to determine whether they will get into heaven. Let's see if your name is in the book. Okay. You are in. Come in. That is not how it works. When believers die, they go straight to heaven. They are in. It is done. It is sealed.

On the other hand, the people who stand before God at the Great White Throne Judgment are not getting in, and that judgment will demonstrate why they are not getting in. The reason is because their names are not written in the Lamb's Book of Life: "And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire" (Revelation 20:15).

It doesn't matter who you are, how important you are, how famous you are, or how wealthy you are. None of that will matter. You will stand before God. And the big question will be, what did you do with Jesus Christ?

So here is my question to you: Are you ready to meet God? Jesus came to this earth to die, to pay the price for our sins, and to rise again from the dead so that we don't have to be afraid when our lives come to an end. We can be ready to meet God.

1 Thessalonian 4:13 -18 He is coming! Christ is coming with those who have “fallen asleep” (the dead) who are then united with their physical bodies. Following this is the removal of all Christians from the earth. Christ put an end to all rule. and delivers the kingdom to God the Father. Christ and the church are joined at His coming.

"Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away. And there was found no place for them."

Being a Faithful Stewart and Servant of God
Matthew 25:21

His lord said to him, Well done, you good and faithful servant: you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things: enter you into the joy of your lord.

If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: If any man serve me, him will my Father honor-Jesus.

If any man serve, me
Or is willing to be a servant of Christ, and to be esteemed as such;
let him follow me; as in the exercise of the graces of love, humility, patience, self-denial, and resignation of will to the will of God, and in the discharge of every duty, walking as he walked, so in a way of suffering; for as the master, so the servants, as the head, so the members, through many tribulations, must enter the kingdom; to which he encourages by the following things:
and where I am; in heaven, as he now was, as the Son of God; or "where I shall be", as the Syriac and Persic versions render it, even as man, in the human nature, when raised from the dead:
there shall also my servant be; when he has done his work, and the place is prepared for him, and he for that, and where he shall ever abide; and as a further encouragement, he adds,
if any man serve me, him will [my] Father honor; by accepting his service, affording him his gracious presence here, and by giving him eternal glory hereafter, to which he has called him.

Matthew 25:21 His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been .... and who being employed in a good work, as that of the ministry is, do it well. Come and share your master's happiness!'

His Lord said unto him, well done Gospel ministers do not say so to themselves; they know they can do nothing well of themselves, and when they have done all they can, they own they are but unprofitable servants; they acknowledge all they do is owing to the grace of God, and strength of Christ, and that no praise is due to them; nor do they expect or seek for such eulogies from men: but this is said, to show how acceptable a diligent laborious ministry is to Christ, and to encourage industry in the preachers of the word, whose works will follow them, though not go before them:

thou good and faithful servant: such may be said to be good, who have the grace of God implanted in them, some good thing in them towards the Lord God; a good work begun in their hearts, without which men can never be good ministers of Christ; and who have good abilities, not only natural and acquired parts, but ministerial gifts; which are the good things committed to them, and that dwell in them, which they are to keep by the Holy Ghost; and who make a good use of them, and freely communicate and impart their spiritual gifts, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God; and who being employed in a good work, as that of the ministry is, do it well, and abide in it: and such may be said to be "faithful", who preach the pure Gospel of Christ, and the whole of it; who neither mix it with the inventions of men, nor keep back any part of it from the saints; who seek not to please men, but their Lord and Master; and not their own honor and applause, but his glory; and who abide by him and his cause, notwithstanding all reproaches, afflictions, and persecutions. In such language as this, the Jews used to praise their servants.

What are the mysteries, or secret things, which were entrusted to those who served as the stewards of God? There were some aspects of the Good News concerning Jesus Christ which were proclaimed by God through His prophets in the scriptures, openly for all to see. (Romans 1:1-2.) There were other aspects that were hidden by God until after Jesus Christ was risen from the dead.

Jesus himself, by means of a parable, gave us a portrait of both a faithful and an unfaithful steward.
Matthew 24:45-51.
45 Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season?
46 Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he come shall find so doing.
47 Verily I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods.
48 But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delay his coming;
49 And shall begin to smite his fellow servants, and to eat and drink with the drunken;
50 The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he look not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of.
51 And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

The Parable of the 10 Virgins
At that time the kingdom of heaven will be like ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. 2 Five of them were foolish and five were wise. 3 The foolish ones took their lamps but did not take any oil with them. 4 The wise ones, however, took oil in jars along with their lamps. 5 The bridegroom was a long time in coming, and they all became drowsy and fell asleep.
6 “At midnight the cry rang out: ‘Here’s the bridegroom! Come out to meet him!’
7 “Then all the virgins woke up and trimmed their lamps. 8 The foolish ones said to the wise, ‘Give us some of your oil; our lamps are going out.’
9 “‘No,’ they replied, ‘there may not be enough for both us and you. Instead, go to those who sell oil and buy some for yourselves.’
10 “But while they were on their way to buy the oil, the bridegroom arrived. The virgins who were ready went in with him to the wedding banquet. And the door was shut.
11 “Later the others also came. ‘Lord, Lord,’ they said, ‘open the door for us!’
12 “But he replied, ‘Truly I tell you, I don’t know you.’
13 “Therefore keep watch, because you do not know the day or the hour

The steward’s primary job, in light of this parable, is to give meat to those whom his lord has put in his care. All that the lord asks of the steward is that he does his job faithfully until his lord returns. The faithful servant, Jesus said, will be rewarded for his service by being given greater responsibility.

Hebrews 12:2 Looking to Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame. 2 Timothy 2:12 If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us:
Serve God with devotion, conviction and complete servitude in your daily walk in the Lord our God..
